Cutting-edge technology and innovation to protect nature

Last Tuesday, October 18, the Spanish freight forwarder EccoFreight, with more than 8 years of experience in the sustainable logistics sector, celebrated Nature Protection Day.

Thanks to the combination of sustainability and innovative technological solutions, EccoFreight has become a national and international benchmark.

Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda, EccoFreight’s main objective has been to contribute to the decarbonization of freight transport to improve environmental quality.

Following international standards and protocols, EccoFreight has developed Eccologistics360: an innovative platform that combines sustainability and a powerful Business Intelligence tool for more efficient and sustainable logistics operations.

Today, Eccologistics360 has become the most accurate and reliable calculator on the market. In addition to calculating and reducing CO2 emissions, the platform offers real alternatives to help our customers in their sustainable transition and increase the added value of their products and services.

Manually, by means of .CSV files or by connecting to the platform via API, users can visualize all their logistics and sustainability information on a single screen.

The reports generated by Eccologistics360 are fully optimized to be shared, as well as to strengthen the company’s CSR strategy.

In their quest to reduce CO2 emissions in freight transport as much as possible, they have developed EccoNetwork: the first and only international community of Forwarders United for Sustainability.

With a presence in more than 30 countries, through Eccologistics360 EccoNetwork members calculate and reduce CO2 emissions in their movements while at the same time having the possibility to connect and establish business relationships with other sustainable actors.

At EccoFreight, in addition to calculating and reducing CO2 emissions in the transportation of goods, they offset their carbon footprint and that of their customers through the EccoForest project.

With more than 3,000 native species already planted, EccoForest intends to reforest desertified areas of the country every year, generating anew the ecosystems that had been lost in the area of action.

At EccoFreight, in addition to protecting nature, they are leading the change that transportation needs.
