In the framework of World Tree Day, which is celebrated every June 28, EccoFreight has surpassed 4,000 trees planted thanks to our EccoForest project. This initiative, part of our commitment to sustainability, aims to reduce the company’s carbon footprint and contribute to the reforestation of desertified areas in the country.

More than a decade planting a green future

For more than 10 years, EccoFreight has been committed to innovation and technology to achieve a more sustainable transport of goods. The company has developed proprietary tools to calculate and reduce the carbon footprint of each shipment, optimizing routes and offering less polluting alternatives.

EccoForest: A green lung against climate change

The EccoForest project is another step on this road to sustainability. Each EccoForest is located in areas previously selected for their high ecological value. In this way, we not only offset the CO2 emissions of our activity, but also contribute to the creation of new forests and the preservation of biodiversity.

A shared commitment: The future is in our hands

Arbor Day is an opportunity to remember the importance of these living beings for the planet. Trees are essential for life on Earth, as they purify the air, regulate the climate and prevent soil erosion. They are also a refuge for biodiversity and provide food and shelter for a wide variety of species.
